| Description | Teaching Objective: This course is offered only to those who are in or preparing for ordained ministry (priesthood or permanent diaconate), so that they may be equipped to serve in the parishes of Hong Kong Diocese. Teaching Content: 1. Understanding the social surroundings of the parish 2. The internal structure of the parish and its operational model 3. The relationships between the parish and other Christian and non-Christian organizations 4. Analysis of personnel management in the parish 5. Reflection from and ecclesiological viewpoint on different parish models and pastoral orientations. Teaching Mode: Lecture and Personal Reading Assessment Mode: Presentation Remark: This course is only open to students who have completed Year 2 studies and are in/preparing for ordained ministry. |
