Description | Teaching Objective: This course will introduce the investigation of the nature of knowledge, conditions and limits of knowledge in Western philosophy. It also seeks to clarify the close relationship between knowing and being. Teaching Content: The crisis of knowledge and the aim of epistemology, the contribution of Descartes, the problem of perception, memory and imagination, conceptual knowledge, knowledge of the material world, knowledge of oneself and others, the question of truth.
