Description Teaching Objective:
The process of the Christian faith entering Chinese society and culture is a process of mutual dialogue. However, there are differences between them which cannot be ignored. We have to know the roots of the similarities and differences between them so as to provide a suitable entry for the Christian faith into Chinese culture.

Teaching Content:
The course will investigate the roots and basic differences between the Greco-Roman culture generated by Christianity and the Chinese culture. The similarities and differences between the two cultures in ontology, natural theology, cosmology, anthropology, ethics and spirituality will then be discussed.
