| Description | Teaching Objective: This course aims to familiarize the students with the comprehensive development of ancient Greek philosophy, especially the philosophical minds such as Plato and Aristotle. It also suggests the students to analyze and understand specific philosophical problems by the philosophical categories and methods in this era. Teaching Content: a. Pre-Socratic philosophy: early natural philosophy and sophists, etc. b. Socratic philosophy: Socrates, Plato and Aristotle c.
