Description | Teaching Objective: To help the students understand the logic, structure and “theology” of John’s Gospel. To guide students to understand the relationship between this Gospel and the three Johannine Letters. To help students understand the structure, symbols and the “theology” of the Apocalypse. Teaching Content: A careful reading of certain crucial chapters of John’s Gospel with special emphasis on terms like “life”, “light” and “belief”. A close reading of some passages of the three Letters of John which are connected with and throw light on the Gospel. A close reading of the Apocalypse.
