Description | Teaching Objective: The objectives of this course are to show how revelation is perceived in the course of history and to demonstrate how revelation is transmitted in the life of the Church. Teaching Content: The content will include: - an introduction to different models of revelation; - a study of revelation as written Scriptures, inspiration, canonicity, inerrancy and hermeneutics; - a study of revelation as Tradition, the mutual relationship between Scripture and Tradition as the deposit of faith; a study of revelation as pronounced by the teaching authority of the Church.
