Description Teaching Objective:
This course aims at reflecting on the relationship between faith and culture, to study the process of inculturation of Christian faith at work in the Chinese world, and to explore a renewed and deeper approach to evangelize in encountering with the Chinese culture.

Teaching Content:
The course will introduce the basis of the inculturation of Christian faith. Study the experiences of inculturation of faith in the early church, in the Greco-Roman world; the process of inculturation of Christian faith and the challenges posed to faith when encountering with Chinese culture; how Christianity develops deeper ways to evangelize so that the Gospel may penetrate the Chinese cultures.
