Description | Teaching Objective: 1. To understand the basic knowledge of Chinese philosophy. 2. To build up the interest of the students in Chinese philosophy. Teaching Content: During the Pre-Ch’in era, the Hundred Schools of thought flourished, creativity laying the foundations of Chinese philosophy. This course studies the origin and development of Pre-Ch’in thought, paying special attention to Confucianist, Taoist, Moist, Legalist thinkers.
