Description | Teaching Objective: Karl Rahner is one of the most outstanding theologians of the Catholic Church in the 20th century. He is very inspiring in many theological questions. The course is to lead the students to understand some of the more important theological themes in his thinking. Teaching Content: The course will introduce themes in Karl Rahner’s Theological Investigation & Schriften zur Theologie such as “relationship between theology and philosophy, biblical hermeneutics and anthropology”, “symbols”, “dialogue with atheism”, “anonymous Christians”.
