Description Teaching Objective:
Through this course, learners will be able to:
1. Analyze the biblical foundation and theological perspectives of the Sacrament of the Eucharist
2. Explain the historical development of the Sacrament of the Eucharist
3. Discuss the liturgical theology of the Eucharist
4. Describe the celebration of the Eucharist
5. Reflect on the relationship between the Eucharist and Christian spirituality
6. Describe the sacraments of the Eastern Church
7. Reflect on the impact of the Second Vatican Council’s reforms on the Eucharist

Teaching Content:
Among all the contemporary liturgical innovations, the innovation of the Eucharist can be said to be the one that has the greatest impact on the life of the Church. The Eucharist (Mass) can be said to be the most concerned ritual among all liturgical celebrations by the faithful, because it has a close relationship with all other liturgical celebrations and is the highest peak of all sacraments and liturgies. And through the celebration of the Sunday every eight days, the Eucharist has composed a harmonious rhythm and rhythm of life for the Christian life.
This course will help the participants enter the core of the Eucharist from six topics:
1. The Eucharist in the New Testament
2. The historical tradition of the Eucharist
3. The sacramental theology of the Eucharist
4. The liturgical theology of the Eucharist
5. The celebration of the Eucharist (practical part)
6. The sacraments of the Eastern Church
7. The ecumenical unity of the Eucharist. I hope that through the study of this course, we can all move towards the root of the Eucharist, and then we will all arrive at the core of the erupting volcano and be on fire, like Mount Sinai being set on fire.
