Major Prophets

Teaching Objective:
To introduce the students to a general knowledge of the contents, exegesis and theology of the Four Major Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel.

Teaching Content:
The material is subdivided into four sections: 1. Introduction to the Prophetical Books, 2. Special Introduction to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel, 3. Approach and Method of Exegesis, 4. Exegesis of selected passages.

Part B:

Minor Prophets
Lecturer: HUI, Lisa

Teaching Objective:
To introduce students to a basic understanding of the content, exegesis and theology of the Twelve Minor Prophets. And to help students grasp the meaning of prophetic fulfilment in the Bible.

Teaching Content:
1. Overview of the Prophetical Books
2. Presenting the prophets across different historical eras in chronological order
3. Investigating fundamental prophetic themes such as the Day of the Lord, and Remnant, the Lord of Hosts, and the “Branch” Messianism, etc.
4. Exegesis of selected passages
