Description Teaching Objective:
This is an introductory course on current problems related to marriages, divorces and remarriages involving Catholics from the perspectives of our current socio-cultural setting, Church teaching, Church Law and pastoral care.

Teaching Content:
1. Vatican II teaching on Marriage
2. Some basic concepts related to Marriage, Marriage as Sacrament and Marriage as Church Institution.
3. Dissolution of the Marriage Bond in Favour of the Faith
4. Annulment of Marriages
5. Pastoral care of the divorced Catholics and of divorced Catholics who remarry outside the Church.
