Description Teaching Objective:
Ancient Church History: Aims to introduce students to the origin and early development of the Church.

Patrology: Aims to introduce students to the Fathers of the Church, their lives, and their theology.

Teaching Content:
Ancient Church History: This part of the course covers the Apostolic Age, the persecuted Church of the second and third centuries, the expansion of the Church after the Edict of Milan, the ecumenical councils, as well as institutional and liturgical developments.

Patrology: This part of the course examines the life, history and works of the Fathers of the Church. The study covers both the pre-Nicene as well as post-Nicene Fathers.
