Description | Teaching Objective: 1st Semester: A comprehensive study of the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation, in respect of their biblical foundation, liturgical traditions, dogmatic teachings and pastoral application. 2nd Semester: A comprehensive study of the Eucharist, in respect of their biblical foundation, liturgical traditions, developments of dogmatic teachings and pastoral applications in view of Vatican II reform. Teaching Content: A. 1st Semester: 1. Biblical foundation of the Sacraments 2. Liturgical development in various traditions 3. Dogmatic teachings in the history 4. Pastoral application after the Vatican II reform B. 2nd Semester: 1. Biblical Foundations (Jewish roots and New Testament) 2. Development of the Eucharistic Celebrations 3. Dogmatic and Moral Aspects of Eucharist 4. Reforms of Vatican II: New Missal and Pastoral application Teaching Mode: Lecture Assessment Mode: Written Examination |
