Description Teaching Objective:
To provide the foundation for a theology of teaching authority that is both faithful to our tradition and responsive to the unique situation of the Roman Catholic Church.

Teaching Content:
In the light of the ecclesiological insights and principles emerged out of Vatican II, this course reconsiders the nature and exercise of doctrinal teaching authority in the Roman Catholic Church. While it is the responsiblility of every baptized believer to pass on the faith, attention will be given to the special responsibility of the Church’s Bishops under the headship of the Bishop of Rome.
