| Description | Teaching Objective: This course aims to familiarize the students with the comprehensive development of ancient Greek philosophy, especially the philosophical minds such as Plato and Aristotle. It also suggests the students to analyze and understand specific philosophical problems by the philosophical categories and methods in this era. Teaching Content: Following the historical development of Greek philosophy, the course will introduce 1. Pre-Socratic philosophy: early natural philosophy and sophism, etc. 2. Socratic philosophy: Socrates, Plato and Aristotle 3.
