Description Teaching Objective:
To acquire a better understanding of the variety of liturgical traditions in the Eastern Churches, and to reflect on ‘li’ in the Chinese culture.

Teaching Content:
A brief introduction to the liturgical traditions of Byzantine, Syrian and Alexandrian Churches, including the seven mysteries (sacraments) and the liturgical year. Reflection on ‘li’ in the Chinese culture. Ritual Studies.
